Nicole Delprado

Nicole Delprado is a Western Sydney based screenwriter, director, and creative producer. As the founder of production company Pike Salto, she’s on a mission to create original IP that propels into the heart of pop culture.

She’s currently developing a slate of genre and children’s projects. Notably, her original Crime Thriller TV series, FOX HUNT, was selected for the inaugural Screen Australia and Dynamic Television initiative and she’s currently writing an action-horror feature film, STUNNERS; in development with Lake Martin Films, supported by Screen Australia and Screenwest. In 2019, she was one of Screen Producers Australia ‘Ones to Watch’.

Her short films have premiered at Sydney Film Festival and Flickerfest. She was a writer & director on the Screen Australia funded online series SHIPPERS and is a co-producer of Screen Australia funded digital series CURSE OF THE VIRGIN. In 2021-22 she worked as a Development Producer at Flying Bark Productions with credits including TV series 100% WOLF:BOOK OF HATH (ABC).

Nicole has been twice longlisted for the Australian Writers Guild’s John Hinde Award and her feature film SPACE CADET was a Finalist in the 2023 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards.

Nicole loves to travel and has lived in Australia, Canada and Vietnam and is a highly qualified gymnastics coach.
